Over 100 years later, that passion for inspired cuisine continues at The Broadmoor Hotel restaurants and lounges. Here, exceptional wines pair perfectly with stunning mountain views, and guests enjoy a range of fresh, bold flavors that change with the seasons.

The Broadmoor showcases 10 restaurants as well as cafés and lounges that range from Colorado’s only Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five Diamond restaurant, the Penrose Room, to the casual Pool Café and Café Julie's. With an emphasis on fresh, local, and sustainable ingredients, an authentic and unforgettable culinary adventure awaits at The Broadmoor.

Penrose Room

As Vivaldi was inspired by the changing of the seasons, so is the Forbes Five Star, AAA Five Diamond cuisine in the historic Penrose Room. Contemporary European cuisine which changes with the season, displays the careful attention to detail created by The Broadmoor's executive chef. These delectable dishes are filled with the finest seafood, meats, and local produce.

Expert sommeliers navigate through extensive wine lists to perfectly complement dinner selections for their guests. Last, but not least, Penrose Room offers a tempting selection of desserts to complete the experience of all the fabulous culinary concepts.

Summit

Summit features regional cuisines of the Americas with a classic twist, complemented by an innovative wine and cocktail program in a modern atmosphere. Summit highlights the cuisine of the Americas and pays homage to different cultures while utilizing local products and ingredients. The restaurant features a visually striking glass enclosed wine turret that stores over 500 bottles. A vibrant network of local top-shelf vendors provides the kitchen with the highest quality ingredients and local produce available, while an extensive bar highlights local microbrews, cocktails, and wines from the finest regions of the world.

La Taverne

The expansive dinner menu of La Taverne sizzles with the finest selection of hand-cut steaks, chops, prime rib, as well as a raw bar. A wide variety of cold shellfish, classic appetizers and homemade soups provide a variety of culinary delights. For lunch, La Taverne serves up favorites such as Seafood Salad Louis, and an assortment of sandwiches and delicious American classics. Relax in Entre Deux with a beverage selection from the expanded wine and classic cocktail program, or choose to dine in the airy Le Jardin among lush florals and the stunning 16-foot chandelier for an al fresco feel.

PLAY at The Broadmoor

The menu is designed to delight, with whimsical plates that combine retro Americana favorites such as a custom burger bar with house blend beef patties, chicken and vegetarian options. Classic salads and flatbreads round out the menu to satisfy the pickiest of palates. Adults can enjoy nostalgic cocktails, Colorado microbrews, wines, and spirits, or an adult milkshake while catching the game at the bar. This fun-filled Colorado restaurant also features bowling lanes, a shuffleboard table, a pool table, foosball and game monitors to keep the family fun going all night.

Golden Bee

A warm, inviting room with merriment radiating from the walls, this English style watering hole is actually assembled from a collection of panels and fixtures from a 19th century English pub, which arrived at The Broadmoor in 1961. A ragtime piano player entertains guests with renditions of classic pub sing-a-longs such as Sweet Caroline, Margaritaville and Piano Man.

Lake Terrace Dining Room

The Lake Terrace Dining Room serves breakfast daily with views of Cheyenne Lake and the Rocky Mountains, as well as a stunning and nationally recognized Sunday brunch with more than 150 varied items, including made-to-order omelets, Belgian Waffles and many other classic Brunch fare.

The Grille

The Grille is a unique experience in dining that brings back some of The Broadmoor’s timeless offerings in a setting as spectacular as the cuisine. Taking its lead from our rich dining traditions, The Grille focuses on the classics, like Chateaubriand for two served tableside, in an atmosphere of relaxed, casual elegance. The Bar at The Grille features an unparalleled cocktail program that is as extensive, and expansive, as the views, adding to an experience for the senses unlike any other at the resort.

Natural Epicurean

Wholesome, healthy, natural and organic cuisine. Enjoy fresh, cold-pressed juices and entrée selections featuring a wide variety of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, as well as sustainably raised meat and fish dishes. Dine-in or take-out in the casual, open air environment, along with seasonal full-service indoor or al fresco dining.

Ristorante Del Lago

Inspired by the finest culinary regions of Italy, Ristorante del Lago offers diners a unique and authentic Italian dining experience. In the morning, enjoy a variety of breakfast options from frittatas and pancakes, to a decidedly European breakfast buffet. For dinner, fragrant wood-fired pizzas are available, along with a selection of meats off the rotisserie and pasta dishes made fresh in-house. The aging room also boasts authentic salumi and formaggio imported straight from Italy. Our biscotti trolley features classics like Amaretti, Chocolate Biscotti and Italian shortbread cookies to conclude your meal.

Bar del Lago

The menu of Bar del Lago reflects authentic Italian dining and features selections from the dinner menu of Ristorante del Lago. Classic Italian cocktails, Italian draft beers and wine varietals from all over Italy offer a wide selection of drinks to complement favorites like antipasti and wood-fired pizzas. Bar del Lago also features Bianco and Rosso house wines on tap.

Penrose Lounge

The best bar with a view can be found in Penrose Lounge. Wine by the glass in a romantic English library, the atmosphere is upscale and refined with spectacular mountain vistas to enjoy with after-dinner refreshments.

Summit Lounge

Intimate, cozy, and eclectic, The Summit is a great place to enjoy a unique beverage with someone special. Choose from a selection of 200 vineyard wines or innovative, seasonal cocktails. For those looking for something to nosh on, "small plates" are available to graze on in between meals.

The Hotel Bar

Murals, photographs and original letters illustrate Spencer Penrose and the Hundred Million Dollar Hotel Club’s 1920 visit to Colorado Springs at this beautiful lakeside bar. Select from a tempting menu of appetizers, microbrew beers, wines by the glass and other libations. Enjoy your drink indoors on overstuffed couches and chairs, or outside while relaxing in the warm glow of the stone fireplace.

Café Julie’s

The Broadmoor’s own Parisian Patisserie featuring our Luxury Valrhona Chocolate Collection, house made gelato, Lavazza specialty coffees and a decidedly distinctive and inviting area to meet. Enjoy soups, salads and sandwiches to go, artisan breads, cakes and other culinary delights. It is a gathering place for signature coffees, espressos, wines and beer as well as, exclusive handmade chocolates from the new chocolate kitchen within the café and specialty pastries.

Oasis

Between the long stretches of game play between the East and West Golf Courses, the Oasis provides some respite with light lunch and snack items to golfer needing to refuel to keep the game going.
