- Discover the brilliant Mediterranean Revival-style architecture of Rancho Bernardo Inn. Originally built in 1963, Rancho Bernardo Inn was the dream of brothers Donald and Lawrence Daley. Both men had inherited the estate a decade prior from their uncle, George Daley.
- Admire the 21 magnificent fountains that reside throughout the grounds. Perhaps the greatest of those fountains is La Fontana di Santiago. Imported directly from Vicenza, Italy, it serves as the centerpiece for the inn’s celebrated Santiago Courtyard.

- Explore the vibrant Gaslamp Quarter in the center of San Diego. Dating back to the late 1860s, the Gaslamp Quarter constitutes a significant portion of the city’s historic downtown. - Visit Balboa Park, a 1,200-acre urban cultural park in San Diego that is a National Historic Landmark. Balboa Park hosted the Panama-California Exposition in 1915 and the California Pacific International Exposition in 1935, so be sure to see the historic Exposition buildings.
