Culinary Heritage

Led by Executive Chef Jim Palmeri, the Mohonk culinary team sources locally from some of the Hudson Valley’s finest farms to create flavorful and satisfying cuisine. Meals at this historic hotel in New England are included in overnight rates, dining is also available to the public with advanced reservations.

Founders

Served between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., brunch on Saturday and Sunday offers the best of both meals. Enjoy a spread of carving stations, salad bar, smoked salmon, jumbo chilled shrimp, a made-to-order omelet station, tempting desserts, and much more. Seasonal soup, coffee, tea, and soft drinks will be provided by the server, and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.

Chef’s Table

This all new style of dining highlights a fresh and spontaneous approach by allowing you to see Mohonk’s culinary team in actions! Food is made to order right in front of you and can be customized to your liking. Menu items feature local Hudson Valley ingredients and the different stations options are plentiful. Enjoy traditional carving stations and farm-to-table salads, along with a pasta station, taco station, hot sandwich station, and many more for breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch. This is available Friday and Saturday nights and upon request.

Main Dining Room

Throughout the year, a traditional served meal is available for dinner in the East or West dining rooms. A more elegant style of attire is requested to reflect this elevated dining experience. Jackets are suggested for gentlemen. Dress slacks or skirts, dress shirts or blouse and dress shoes required. Not acceptable are hats, athletic wear, swimwear, and ripped, torn, or frayed clothing

The Granary

Overlooking Lake Mohonk, this casual, outdoor dining experience complete with checkered tablecloths and wooden picnic tables is the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed summer lunch or evening cookout. Enjoy an impressive buffet of barbecued chicken, spare ribs, burgers, hot dogs, sausages, corn on the cob, fresh fruit, and homemade pies. Stop by the Ice Cream booth for a cone-to-go to end the perfect meal!

Carriage Lounge

Located on the ground level between the East and West dining rooms, the Carriage Lounge offers light fare, beverages and alcoholic beverages for purchase. Perfect for intimate conversations, this lounge features handcrafted cocktails, hyper-local draft beer, and more than 20 varieties of New York spirits.

Lake Lounge

Enjoy a breakfast buffet or afternoon tea and cookies overlooking Lake Mohonk.

Old Fashioned Soda Fountain

Guests can stop here for a morning espresso or late night snack.

Holiday (Seasonal)

For Easter, Mother’s Day, and Thanksgiving a bountiful brunch buffet full of culinary delights is prepared. Indulge in a wide array of cheeses, galantines and pates, smoked and cured seafood, salads, carved-to-order meats, hot specialties, and a host of desserts. There’s no better way to celebrate the holidays than sharing a delicious meal with family and friends.
