This is the John Rutledge House Inn classic She-Crab Soup Recipe, as it was submitted to a Historic Hotels of America cookbook in the early 1990’s. In Charleston, the She-Crab Soup is seen on many restaurant menus, but the very first bowl was whipped up at the Rutledge House.
